I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT SHARING THE OCEAN.
Whether it’s on our OCEAN TRAVEL trips to pristine destinations around the world, close to home in Cape Town or through the work we do with the I AM WATER Foundation - seeing someone grow in their love for the sea and their comfort in water fills me with joy!
Check out OCEAN TRAVEL for upcoming freediving trips, or email me for dates and rates for Cape Town courses.
Peter and I host bespoke family and individual freediving courses and experiences, as well as group trips through OCEAN TRAVEL. September 2026 we will be traveling to Avani Fares in the Maldives to host freediving and breathwork courses, celebrate World Manta Day. Come join us there - more below.

BACK AT Avani+ Fares Maldives this September!
This September, we're returning to the Maldives for two very different ocean experiences, both set in the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — one of the only places on Earth where manta rays gather by the hundreds.
September 7–10, 2026 · Avani+ Fares Resort, Baa Atoll
This one's for families. Over four days and three nights, we help parents build confidence and ocean literacy alongside their kids —-reading conditions, assessing risk, and easing into the water together rather than pushing children to freedive. Days start with shallow-water games at the jetty and house reef snorkeling, then move into a boat excursion to Hanifaru Bay for manta ray observations, turtle snorkeling, and rope drift diving. We close things out with an optional sunrise beach meditation on the final morning.
Hanifaru Bay Freediving Retreat
September 14–19, 2026 · Reethi Resort (NH Collection Maldives), Baa Atoll
Right after the family trip, we run our signature freediving retreat in the same protected waters. Hanifaru Bay has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve site since 2011, and access is deliberately limited to protect it - which is exactly why it's so special. Over five days, the group progresses from yoga, breathwork, and shallow breath-holds to deeper rope sessions and boat dives, working up to manta ray encounters at the bay's cleaning stations. Along the way there are turtles, reef sharks, and a house reef right off the resort. Group sizes stay small so everyone gets real, personal coaching.
Two trips, two weeks, one incredible stretch of ocean. If you're curious about joining us on a future Maldives trip, reach out - spots are limited by design to protect the bay we love so much.
